Eat that frog! First thing in the morn! Get it over with! It’s often easier than you think. Do what you fear (dread/dislike) and the death of fear is certain. Procrastination drains your energy; intelligently directed action creates momentum and fuels your energy.
Release the expectation that life should be easier, that somehow you are entitled to a life without problems, that there are or should be shortcuts to success. Problems are a normal part of life and contained within each is a learning lesson, a growth opportunity. Life’s greatest teachers are often the most irritable people we meet or our deepest valleys. It is in the challenges we overcome, the chasms that we cross that we discover the greatness within us.
The ability, the willingness, to take sustained, consistent action toward our well-thought-out goals is the key to achieving the life you desire, the dreams you seek to fulfill. Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
“A major part of successful living lies in the ability to put 1st things 1st; the reason most major goals are not achieved is that we spend our time doing 2nd things 1st!” – Robert J. McKain, b. 1959
“To live an ordinary life, do what is tension relieving; to live the Life ExtraOrdinare, do what is goal achieving.” – Nathan S. Collier, b. 1952
“The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem.” – Theodore I. Rubin, b. April 11, 1923
As always, I share what I most want and need to learn. – Nathan S. Collier
