A quote by Steven Covey: "I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions."

Actions have consequences. You can choose your actions; your control over the consequences is limited at best. The challenge is that we often do not fully comprehend the consequences of our behavior, the ripples and eddies that occur beyond our awareness. Since so often the full ramifications of our choices are hidden from us by time and circumstances, it behooves us to invest deeply in increasing our consciousness, deepening our emotional intelligence.

Pick up one end of the stick, pick up the other end of the stick. In ways large and small, we reap what we harvest though only the wise will so perceive for the fruit bears no resemblance to the seed.
