Anyone who thinks that positive thinking will solve all their problems is delusional. That is not positive thinking, that is wishful thinking. Life is full of setbacks, disappointments, and negative events. Accept it. A sunny disposition is not a magical forcefield to ward away problems.
However, optimism WILL help you deal with the potholes and roadblocks of life, enable you to keep your energy levels up while you endeavor to turn stumbling blocks to stepping stones, adjust your sails to keep your ship headed to your goals as the winds of fortune shift and change.
