A sign with an arrow pointing to the left that says "old habits" and an arrow pointing to the right that says "change"

“Reading without application is just a form of wasting time.” I read that sentence in a TM’s email* and it was a gut check. It’s a hard reality: So easy to read, so challenging to enact the new knowledge, to actually change. As always, it is a matter of choice, we are response-able, we are creatures with free will: Do it one day? Or do it Day One?

Closing Quotes:

“To know and not do is to not know.”Proverb

“The price of doing the same old thing is far higher than the price of change.”Bill Clinton

“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.”Leonardo da Vinci

Footnote:

* I do one-on-one mentoring with TCC Team Members (TM’s) where they read a book and chapter by chapter (or by section) they send me a paragraph or two on their thoughts and I respond with a few sentences.
