A young woman who looks like she is thinking, with 2 illustrated arms flexing muscles on either side of her head

  1. The past is a place of reference, not residence. Focus forward, make plans, set goals, excelsior!
  2. Stress is not an event but a learned reaction to an event. There is nothing but thinking does not make it so.
  3. Never mistake the limits of your vision for the limits of the world. The primary point of power is always within.
  4. Thoughts held in mind, attract in kind; what you focus on expands. Keep your self-talk on your side; make it a coach, not a critic.
  5. Never make important decisions when tired or pressured. Take 5 deep breaths, take a long walk, better yet: sleep on it.
  6. Remain curious, ask intelligent questions, never, ever stop learning. Grow your knowledge base, develop your EQ.
  7. MOVE! Exercise revitalizes both the body and the mind. Both physical and mental muscles atrophy without regular use.
  8. Live smart, avoid dumb, don’t sabotage. Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.
