To “see the work” means can you see what needs to be done without being told. It further means do you have the ability to self-motivate, self-supervise, the drive to rise? At an even deeper level, it implies the skillset to understand the overall goal and how to best contribute. It also presupposes that you have bought into the overall mission, that you are aligned with the overall purpose, that it has meaning to you, that it moves you. If that is not the case, I suggest you quickly move on and find a situation that rings truer to you, for life is too wonderful to be squandered by living a life that is not our best life, that does not call out to our fullest self.
