It is possible to care too much, both from the perspective of 1) being ineffective and of 2) emotional exhaustion.

Far better to positively impact a few critical issues, perhaps where your knowledge, position or abilities give you a better than most opportunity to make a meaningful difference, than to dilute your energy and efforts by flailing feebly at multitudes.

Make your endeavors count, consolidate your caring. It is all too easy to indulge in feel good but inconsequential “virtue signaling”. However, creating real, lasting change is hard work, often a grind. Those who want to make a real difference are in it for the long haul and pick their battles with intelligent, thoughtful care.
