Too often we focus on our lacks, our weaknesses, on barriers in our way. Doing so flirts with creating a victim identity.

If your goal is to create the best life possible for yourself and your loved ones, then run with your strengths while merely backstopping your weakness. Any energy that is not solution-oriented is energy wasted. Whatever your circumstances in life, I assure you that in some way, at some level, you participated in their creation and thus that same power can be used in the creation of a better situation.

To get the most out of life, you must start from where you are with what you’ve got and assume full, personal responsibility for making the most of it. No looking back.
