Every day life begins anew and with it an opportunity for new (more informed?) choices, new (wiser?) decisions, new (better?) paths.

Will you go to bed a finer person than you arose? Even in just the smallest way? Make not little of even the tiniest bits of daily progress for over the years they compound in awesome ways. Were you kind? Did you lend a helping hand? Waive another into traffic before you, release the urge to vent when another did not? Say the gentle word? Grow your self? Without being blind, still see the best in all? Call out to it and encourage it? Including within yourself? Laid a brick or two more on the road to self-mastery? Self-awareness?

If you have done any of the above, then likely you have done your daily duty.

Duty: Responsibilities that must be fulfilled, Acts we feel compelled to do simply because in our heart of hearts we know it is the right thing to do. And by doing so, we grow and thus gain so very much. To every man the choice is continually being offered… embrace duty or shrink away… and by their choice you will know them… and by their choice they create and mold themselves.
