It is in times like these that life takes our “true measure”. In times of crisis, of peril, when the storms of life rage, when the winds blow hard, when night is darkest, when dawn seems but a distant memory… this is our opportunity to shine, to be a light, a beacon in the darkness.
This is our golden opportunity to be our best selves. To support others, to role model rational responses, to stay the course, to remain cool, calm, collected and above: centered. These are the in-between times, a time of waiting. To do nothing when doing nothing is the best course can sometimes be the most difficult discipline.
Stay calm, find your best self, stay there, steadfastly carry on.

“Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.” – Joyce Meyer
“Patience is not the ability to wait. Patience is to be calm no matter what happens, constantly take action to turn it to positive growth opportunities, and have faith to believe that it will all work out in the end while you are waiting.” – Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
As always, I share what I most want and need to learn. – Nathan S. Collier
