Sometimes I lose my best self; find myself distracted and drifting off course. Usually it is because I get busy, then wake up to find I haven’t gone back to the sources of inspiration and guidance that I need to visit regularly to stay spiritually in tune and mentally healthy! Sometimes it is because I’m avoiding facing some task or situation. In doing so I’m not being true to myself and so the dissonance can spread like disruptive waves through my soul.

The solution is simple but not always easy: go back and immerse myself in the timeless wisdom of my soul guides. They are faithful, always calling to me. I just need to be willing to slow down and to still myself long enough to hear their quiet whispers. Then, I need to find the courage to answer and to rise up to my best self.
