Mental muscles are just like physical muscles: in the short run, the more you use them, the more tired/weak they grow BUT in the LONG run, the stronger they get. The key is to get WANT power on your side, stop relying so much on WILL power.

WANT power is usually stronger than WILL power so harness WANT power in the positive. For example, I’ve never dieted in my life; simply had a self-image as a person who made choices that supported me:

I want a healthy relationship with food
I want to eat slowly, savoring every bite
I want to eat nutritiously
I want to take good care of myself
I want to be a good role model
I want to be loving to myself
