The mind, the ego, the subconscious often have multiple reasons why peace must be just around the corner (or difficult/impossible because of some past event) but somehow not possible in the present moment. I will be happy/at peace when: my kids behave, when my spouse ceases doing “x”, when I get more $, a bigger house, more friends, nicer car, more recognition, better relationship, lose weight, get a promotion…
The list is endless AND it’s all a lie! You will be a peace when you decide to be at peace, no sooner nor later. Peace exists in the present moment, it is the product of a willingness to release, to simply choose peace.
Argue for your weakness and it is yours. The more time and energy you spend on your “Why I Can’t Be at Peace Now” list, the more deeply invested in it you become. Release! Choose peace of mind NOW! Your best life awaits you!
