We do a lot of things on autopilot, including how we spend our money. We make assumptions we never truly challenge or even fully conscious of or understand.
Want to get more out of life? Your life? Get more bang for your buck, more zip for your hour?
Slow down a bit, heck, come to a full stop for just a few minutes a day and think it some things through. Get a journal and set aside 10 minutes a day. Write down what you are going to do that day (or did do) and why? What was the reason, what was the expected benefit? Did the desired payoff arrive? Did that stressful hurrying turn to be necessary? Is that routine working for you? Are there other ways? Better ways? Different paths? Have you trod them lately?
Effective questions are questions that force you to think, to examine yourself and the world around you, that make you see the world differently. Taking a few moments daily to question yourself (and listen to the answers) is an incredibly effective way to live your fullest life.
