The things that separate us pale in significance compared to the things that unite us. We are all in this one world together and cooperation, honoring the social contract, is the best way to make the world a better place. When political discourse degenerates into personal attacks, yelling, trying to score “points” instead of engaging in reasoned two way conversation, we ALL lose.

In our heart of hearts, we all want the greatest good for the greatest number for the longest possible time, we simply have differing ideas on how to achieve that outcome. By honoring the good intentions in others, by choosing to remaining peaceful and calm even if others lose it (what others do is their karma, how you respond is yours!), by showing respect, sincerely trying to understand the other’s perspective, wants, needs, and fears, we create trust and open the way to progress.

Want a kinder, warmer, gentler, more loving world? Become the change you seek.
