You always have to pay full price for success. Success is never half-price, never on discount. You won’t find success in the bargain bin or at the outlet mall. Yes, luck comes our way at times but that is not a strategy to rely upon nor a plan that will roll out.
While there is no easy road to success, the good news is that the price for success does not have to be paid in one lump sum, you can earn your way to success via the installment plan. The further good news is that while there is no one, single hidden secret to success, success is a lot simpler than most folks realize: By and large, it’s the little things that determine success, you just need to keep doing the right small things repeatedly.
Another thing about success is that while working hard and working long are important, working SMART is even more important. Focus as much (if not more) on Qualitative factors (working better/smarter) as on Quantitative factors (working harder/longer). Become a ravenous learner, continuously curious, relentlessly, rigorously pursuing personal and professional growth. The rewards are great and well worth the investment.
