If you can’t think of any… well, I suspect you’ve missed a bunch! There is an old adage to the effect “That when the student is ready; the teacher will appear.” Well, I’m here to tell you, the teacher is always there! There is something to be learned in every day if you are alert and receptive and furthermore, as The Course in Miracles reminds us, relationships are our biggest teacher. Reflection, introspection, and journaling are excellent ways to coach ourselves and gain insights, as is seeking out friends and life companions who share your interest in personal, professional, and spiritual growth and are willing to serve as agenda-less social mirrors.
