Folks, life is complex and we are all often caught up in the whirlwind of being busy about this and busy about that. Routines, habits, and going with the flow certainly all require less thought and energy. I do it myself all the time.
However… to live your best, fullest life it is vital to step back on occasion (Journal! Have written goals for all your major roles, with targets, action plans and accountability check points, review regularly!) and ensure you are not living your entire life on autopilot or if you are, you’ve vetted the programing, are enjoying the journey, agree with the destination, route and speed!
You have the power to customize your settings; default mode is far from the only option. Do NOT drift through life! Live intentionally, harness positivity, and live with passion, power, and purpose.
Closing Quote: ‘The Set of the Sails’
“One ship sails East, And another West,
By the self-same winds that blow,
‘Tis the set of the sails
And not the gales,
That tells the way we go.
Like the winds of the sea
Are the waves of time,
As we journey along through life,
‘Tis the set of the soul,
That determines the goal,
And not the calm or the strife.”
