The words "Life is short, choose happiness." in colorful letters on an off-white background

Life is too short to squander in strife. The longer I live, the more I’m willing to let bygones be bygones, to turn the other cheek, to release and forget, to let things just be water under the bridge, to focus more on releasing restraining forces than to increase driving forces, to pick my battles very carefully, to think the best of others, to walk on the sunny side of the street.

None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow, each sunrise is a precious gift. Please join me in remembering to daily, constantly, cherish and appreciate each shinning, fleeting moment.

“My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends –
It gives a lovely light.”

– Edna St. Vincent Millay, 1892-1950
