Centering phrases are anything that speaks to us, calming words we use to call forth our best selves in times of need or stress.
I’ve several that I’ve chosen and honed and have given talismanic-like power to over the years by repetition and reinforcement.
In times of stress and formidable challenge: “This is what I do and I’m good at it. It is my chosen arena; I’ve studied and prepared all my life for moments like this. I will prevail.”
Others:
“My sense of self is anchored deep within; from that flows wonderful peace.”
“I’m a radiant optimist; I carry the Sun in my pocket, the Stars in my heart.”
If you listen for them, we can all find words of power and phrases that will bring out our best from the deep reservoirs of strength we possess but all too often never call forth.
Closing quotes:
