If you choose to hold a grudge or a grievance or latch onto any form of resentment, spite, anger, envy, jealousy, or hostility and you clutch those thoughts and emotions tight to your soul; you have sown seeds of sorrow that will bring forth a bumper crop of bitterness.

If on the other hand, you dwell on thoughts of gratitude, appreciation, praise, peace, contentment, happiness, thankfulness, blessing, grace, goodness, and mercy and hold these emotions close to your heart, you will reap a bountiful harvest of goodness and goodwill.
