Who are you? How do you define yourself? What do you think you are capable of? What can you do, what do you think you can’t do? In other words, what is your self-concept, what is your identity? How well do you know yourself?
Given all the above, how moldable do believe your identify to be? Do you have a fixed mind set or is it flexible?
Truth is your “identity” is in many ways a social construct, one shaped by your early role models, by society and yes, by you. You are not responsible for the programing you received as a young’un but you are definitely in charge as an adult for de-bugging it!
Your tendencies do NOT have to be your destiny, you have choices, routines, habits, patterns, daily decisions that are all within your power. Identity may be destiny but in many ways, identity is choice. Choose consciously.
