Greatness is in ALL of us, in one form or another. Inchoate perhaps, embryonic maybe, but a seed of greatness lies within us, ready to flourish if it would but be nourished. Sometimes greatness emerges from us, drawn out by inspiration, other times it is pulled out by pain or fear. We all have a talent, a flair, a gift, a bent, an ability that if we cultivate, support, foster, and develop will bring forth the best in us. And as we risk pushing ourselves, we find and attract others of like mind, drawing strength from their example, and them from ours, and together we become stronger and go further, faster.
We all overestimate what we can do in a day or a week and underestimate what we can do over a year, a decade, a life. Most masterpieces are works of time, slowly crafted by persistent effort, many times only recognized in hindsight.
Be open to the greatness in you, challenge yourself, scare yourself every now and then.

“Inside you are two wolves. One is evil, the other is good. The mean wolf fights the good wolf all the time.” “Which one wins?” “Whichever one is fed.”
As always, I share what I most want/need to learn. – Nathan S. Collier
