“Dyfal Donc a Dyr y Garreg” is a Welsh proverb that translates “Tapping persistently breaks the stone.”
Persistence is firm, even obstinate, continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition, continuing steadfastly toward one’s goal. The habit of persistence, the personality trait of dogged determination, is key to success in any endeavor. We all get discouraged, we all have times when motivation wanes BUT if we have cultivated tenacity, nurtured a resolute nature, and refined our resilience, we will find the resolve and the momentum to continue onward to victory, powering our way over, around or through obstacles.
Where are you meaningfully giving up? Is there some important area of your life where you have not given your all? Something significant where you’ve settled for less than you were capable?
