Too often we focus on our lacks, our weaknesses, on barriers that are in our way and thus flirt with creating a victim identity. If our goal is to create the best life possible for ourselves and our loved ones, then the best route lies in running with our strengths while merely backstopping our weakness. Any energy that is not solution oriented is wasted. Whatever your circumstances in life, I assure you that in some way, at some level, you participated in their creation and thus that same power can be used in the creation of a better situation.
To get the most out of life, you must start from where you are with what you have and assume full, personal responsibility for making the most of it, no looking back.
