Can failure be a GOOD thing? Yes, certainly, but with caveats! Demanding perfection is a prescription for paralysis and the only way to never fail is to never try. Failure is inevitable, the key is to keep it from being final or fatal!

Superior performance comes from creating a culture that/where:

1) Strives for excellence and continuous improvement without demanding infallibility or perfection.

2) Freedom exists to “fail forward” without punishment or penalty; celebrates “Smart Failure” or “Good Heart/Awake Mind” Failure.

3) Systems that encourage “Post Action Reviews” to identify and share critical “Lessons Learned”.
