Living life in crescendo means that the most important part of life lies before you, not behind. It means that you are NEVER too old to do or be anything. Living life in crescendo means the best is ALWAYS yet to be. All too often we slow down, subconsciously lowering our expectations, acting our age, confusing maturity with stodginess, wisdom with pedantry.
Life should be lived with full passion to the last of our days, every moment shining like a diamond, fire in the belly burning bright.
“Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rage at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”– Dylan Marlais Thomas, 1914-1953, Welsh poet
“There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”- Nelson Mandela, 1918-2013, former President of South Africa, South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician
“If there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived? Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, let it become you and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you.” – T. Alan Armstrong, American children’s writer
