Every moment is a moment of decision. Every act, every failure to act, shapes your future. And because your world view, what you choose to dwell upon, creates your emotions, which in turn drive your behavior, your thoughts create your future. Thoughts held in mind attract in kind, what you focus on expands. You cannot always help the thoughts that come to mind, but you can certainly control the thoughts that stay in mind. If you are challenged to change your focus, try repeating positive affirmations: “Release brings me peace. I will release all thoughts that hurt.” Try physical activity or a change in location or seek the company of positive, uplifting folks (who are into personal, professional and spiritual things), doing inspiring things with their lives.
But to every man there openeth,
A high way and a low,
And every mind decideth,
The way his soul shall go.
– Ella Wheeler Wilcox

“Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you’re doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you.” – Joel Osteen
“If you don’t think your anxiety, depression, sadness and stress impact your physical health, think again. All of these emotions trigger chemical reactions in your body, which can lead to inflammation and a weakened immune system. Learn how to cope, sweet friend. There will always be dark days.” – Kris Carr
