Business (and Life) is a multi-player, multi-move game that is never ending, where new players can enter the game at any time and the rules are forever changing. Best is a static state that is temporary at best; just ask Atari or VHS or Garmin or Blackberry. Rather than setting a goal of being the best, perhaps we are better off setting a goal of continuous, never ending improvement: Every day, better than the day before.
