I am continually amazed at the extent to which our belief systems create our life. Whether we realize it or not, at some level, we all participate in the forging of our life circumstances. The kindness we show, the smiles we share, the enthusiasm we broadcast, the caring we demonstrate, the optimism we radiate, the happiness we spread, the hope and cheer we pour forth, the confidence we display… they are all seeds we plant and eventually harvest.

Think I exaggerate? Read the below sentence, identical to the above save for the attributes referred to; tell me who will have the better life, tell me who you’d rather be, who you’d rather have as a comrade on the journey of life.

The harshness we show, the frowns we share, the apathy we broadcast, the indifference we demonstrate, the pessimism we radiate, the gloom we spread, the doubt and discouragement we pour forth, the anxiety and apprehension we display… they are all seeds we plant and eventually harvest.
