Birthdays are a time to celebrate life, to feel special, to appreciate all that we have, all that we love, and all those who love us. Birthdays are also the mile markers of life, accountability checkpoints where we reflect upon what we have done and what remains to be done. Birthdays are a time to both look forward and to start anew, to make new decisions, to wear a new skin. I pay particular attention to my monthly “birthdays”, the 11th of each month as well as to the quarterly and half marks. I find it stimulates me, motivates me to keep moving forward, to make the most of each precious moment of life we are granted.

Every day is a fresh start, a new day and you are a new person, free to make new decisions, to renew yourself, to begin anew. Treat yourself special every day, celebrate every day.
