Wisdom is a far, far different beast than merely being smart or educated and it is rarely if ever acquired passively. Wisdom is slowly won by reflection, by cultivating self-awareness. The growth of wisdom takes intention, focus, commitment and purpose; it accumulates over time. The wisest thoughts ever written or read do not become wisdom until you bring them to life in your life. With thoughtful reflection you can transform your wounds into wisdom and let your life be your message.
We humans tend to pursue things of the earth, material things; all well and good but with balance please! Proverbs 3:15 tells us wisdom is more precious than rubies and Sophocles reminded us wisdom outweighs any wealth. “Pursue wisdom. It’s available and accessible to those who truly desire it. And there’s no better time to begin the pursuit than today.”- J.R. Briggs
