It is astounding how much of our lives we spend on auto-pilot, unthinkingly performing the same, almost ritualistic behaviors. Reflexively feeling the same emotions because we run the same scripts through our head that we picked up at odd moments of vulnerability, usually without conscious thought.

As a result, we live less then optimum lives, like an ancient computer operating system that chugs along with random patches galore. One that is never holistically appraised on a clean sheet basis and re-written to operate at its fullest, greatest capacity.

Thus, you are not your best self today, not on the road living your best possible life. Far from it, you are on a dirt road when you could be on a four-lane expressway. You are potential untapped. I challenge you to begin the process of unleashing your best self. The first step is to focus and starts with setting written goals for each of your roles in life along with action plans, accountability check points, targets and deadlines. I urge you to start today; a decision without action to implement is just a thought.
