We humans tend to have this incessant inner dialogue going on inside our heads; an endless chatterbox. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes the form of a relentless inner critic, pounding away at our self-concept, eroding our self-worth. Allowing this to go on is… how to say this nicely? Not smart? A form of self-sabotage? NEVER rent out a room in your head to the opposition! We all have enough challenges in life without being 110% on our own side. Don’t yet know how to take control of that voice? Well, try starting out with “I’m busy now, on task, got a mission, maybe later.” Then again, maybe never!
That inner voice is NOT you; YOU are the entity hearing it and you have the power to dispute it, to quiet it, to fire it. Or better yet, send it off to school and give it a new job: your coach, your cheerleader, your new BFF, maybe even eventually your wise advisor?
