A common way in which we distract ourselves from doing our own internal work is focus on faults of others or how we’ve been wronged. Yet the only person we can control is ourselves and it is our responsibility to become the change we seek.
The cleaner you keep your side of the street, the better and more uplifting your life will be. It doesn’t matter what others say or do or how they treat you. That’s their karma, how you respond is yours.
If a relationship is dysfunctional or a situation is unhealthy to be around, simply move on. Keeping your side of the street clean means owning bad choices; learning from them and moving on with better choices. Life is much simpler, much more manageable, when we focus on only what is ours to own and release all else, never letting the drama of others derail us.
