You gotta believe in you. So much starts there. The world will take you at your word, the world will accept your unconscious self-appraisal as the gospel truth, especially on the downside! Know yourself, build on your strengths, back stop your weakness but believe in you, have faith in yourself. In times of stress and strain (or when I’m behind in racquetball!), I take a deep breath and say to myself “This is what I do and I do it well. I’ve trained and studied for this moment; I have what it takes.” I find it calming and I go forth and persevere.
